Collection: The Colors of Joy

The lines in a drawing create structure or bones of a creation. Color creates emotion or brings life to a creation.

I went to India for a wedding, and I was inspired by all the beautiful, colorful materials of the Sarees that were worn by all the women. The bright colors were quite a contrast to the colors of the streets and buildings. I came home and started painting with the reds, purples, yellows, blues, and other colors.

I want the paintings to reach out to feel the color, touch it; embrace it. I hope the colors create an environment of joy.
